A major upgrade at the NWRH site was completed in 2017 including a new 3 storey Cancer Care Centre, fully upgraded Emergency Department and new main Entry.
EST completed the detailed design for the Electrical, Fire Sprinkler, Hydraulics, Mechanical Services including Natural Gas & Medical Gases and Vertical Transportation (lifts). New feature systems including an integrated gas condensing boiler system to supply both hydronic heating and domestic hot water throughout the new works with capacity for future expansion to the remainder of the site. A new fire sprinkler system was also installed with capacity for future expansion. New electrical systems included a major upgrade of the site main switchboards, new generator, new energy efficient lighting.
