After completing a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tasmania John worked in various positions throughout the world before returning to Tasmania to start a career as a Building Services Engineer. Previously working as a Production Supervisor and a Project Engineer in the UK.
Since starting at EST in 2006 John has continued to expand his knowledge of the mechanical building services including heating, ventilation and air-conditioning design; gas piping design; hydronic systems design; and building modelling using the IES Virtual Environment software.
John has extensive experience in sustainable projects including Cimitiere House and NRAS accommodation project in Launceston and The North West Regional Hospital redevelopment.
