Dr David Devenish
Senior Services Engineer - Mechanical
BEng (Mech), PhD, FIEAust.
David graduated with first class honours from the UWA in 1983 and gained his PhD in mechanical (thermal systems) engineering in 1996 and has gained extensive (31 years) experience in the mechanical engineering field. David was elected a fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia in 2016.
David’s specific areas of expertise include thermal modelling of structures and systems with life cycle costing and greenhouse gas emissions analysis. He is a NABERS qualified assessor. David has been with Engineering Solutions Tasmania and based in Hobart since 2007 and in this time gained extensive experience in commercial buildings including the award winning sustainable projects Tarremah Hall and Mt Nelson Sustainability Centre.
